The Red Pumps. 12" x 12" Oil on board wih 1" box frame. These shoes were a part of our house. I like shoes, the places they represent. These remind me of two canoe's waiting to set sail. The painting is vibrant, finished with a glossy hard varnish. My sister has a good collection of my work and I gave this to her last year to add to it. I want to show it here as a beginning to this document. I believe it was a cathartic painting with respect to my growth as a painter.
